The International Pivot: A Note From the Editor Sandy Coffee
Sandy Coffee, Editor In Chief

In 2014, I moved to Dubai and started a lifestyle platform. It was a natural thing to do at the time: a place to write about beauty discoveries, memorable restaurants, and the cultural observations worth keeping. I called it Lifestyle With Sandy Coffee, and like many first creative ventures, it became the beginning of something I didn't yet fully understand.

Life, as it tends to, had other plans.

The platform grew quiet, but I didn't. The years that followed took me across continents, through cities that each revealed something different about the way women live, dress, eat, travel, and care for themselves. What accumulated during that time wasn't simply experience. It was perspective. An international lens that transformed not only how I saw the world, but how I wanted to write about it.

Eventually, it became clear that the publication I was building had outgrown the name it began with.

That is how Maison QSC came to be.

More than a rebrand, Maison QSC reflects the publication I had been growing toward all along. It is an editorial home shaped by years of travel, observation, and a belief that luxury is not defined by price, but by beauty, intention, culture, and the way we choose to experience the world.

That distinction matters to me.

Maison QSC is not a content channel or a personal diary. It is an editorial publication built around a considered point of view on how women of substance move through the world. The women who read it know the difference between a trend and a standard. They travel with intention. They invest in beauty that delivers more than promises. They seek out culture not simply as something to see, but as something to understand.

Here, fashion is explored through the lens of identity rather than the cycle of seasons. Beauty is approached with the depth it deserves through efficacy, craftsmanship, and cultural context. Wellness is treated as a philosophy of self respect. Arts, culture, and entertainment are essential, not supplementary. Luxury travel is an extension of all of it, where every destination has something to teach beyond its postcard moments.

This is the publication I always meant to build.

Whether you've been here since Lifestyle With Sandy Coffee or you've just discovered Maison QSC, I'm grateful you're here. I hope these stories encourage you to travel more thoughtfully, live more intentionally, and see the world with greater curiosity.

Welcome to Maison QSC.
